Volcan De Mi Tierra X.A Tequila

Volcán de mi Tierra takes its name from a genuine 200,000-year-old volcano in Jalisco, whose ancient eruption blanketed the region in iron-rich volcanic soil — soil that gives the area's agave its distinctive mineral character. The brand itself was born from an unlikely conversation in 2014, when the Gallardo family — tequila producers in the region for over 300 years — partnered with luxury house Moët Hennessy to create something genuinely new.

X.A. ("Extra Ages") is the brand's most ambitious expression: a blend of reposado, añejo, and extra-añejo tequilas aged in proprietary oak casks, combining highland and lowland agave for real complexity — vanilla, toasted oak, dried red fruit, and dark chocolate, with a buttery, lingering finish.

Best enjoyed neat or on the rocks, where its layered ageing can really show.
