Martell is the oldest of cognac's great houses, founded in 1715 by Jean Martell, a young trader from Jersey who built his business on the banks of the Charente. Martell remains the only major house to distil exclusively from clear, sediment-free wine, a detail that contributes to its exceptionally smooth, refined character.

Noblige takes its name from the French saying "noblesse oblige" — nobility carries obligation — and lives up to it: a VSOP built from eaux-de-vie sourced largely from the Borderies region, delivering rich notes of fruit, vanilla, and oak with real elegance.

Lovely on its own, or in a simple cognac cocktail with citrus and a touch of sweetness, as Martell's own cellar master recommends.
