Luc Belaire is a different kind of sparkling wine story: rather than centuries of château heritage, the brand was built in the 2010s around hip-hop culture, with rapper Rick Ross among its earliest and most visible champions. Its eye-catching black bottles became a fixture in nightclubs well before most drinkers knew much about what was actually inside them.
Made in France from Chardonnay, Ugni Blanc, and Colombard grapes, it's a Vin de France sparkling wine rather than a Champagne or Crémant, offering an approachable, fruit-forward character that's designed for easy drinking rather than serious contemplation.
