William Grant built Glenfiddich — "Valley of the Deer" in Gaelic — with his life savings of £755 in 1886, and the distillery has remained in family hands ever since, sitting at the heart of Speyside's malt whisky tradition.

The 12 Year Original is the whisky that introduced much of the world to single malt Scotch in the first place: fresh pear and apple on the nose, a gentle oak warmth from ex-bourbon and sherry cask maturation, and a famously easy-drinking character that's never lost its appeal.
