Glendronach, in the Highlands near Huntly, has built its reputation on rich sherry-cask maturation — a house style that runs deep even in this peated expression, where smoke meets the distillery's signature dried-fruit sweetness.
Expect a layered nose of soft peat smoke and dark dried fruit, with a palate that balances smoulder against sherry-driven richness — a more textured take on peated whisky than the maritime smoke of an Islay malt.
