Emperador Light Brandy

Emperador was launched in 1990 by Filipino entrepreneur Andrew Tan as the Philippines' first domestic brandy label — and the bet paid off spectacularly. By 2006, it had become the world's best-selling brandy by volume, eventually outselling the next ten brandy brands combined and prompting Emperador's parent company to acquire Spain's oldest brandy house, Fundador, in 2015.

This Light expression, introduced in 2010, blends brandy with neutral cane-spirit alcohol for a gentler, more approachable character and lower alcohol content — part of the move that helped propel Emperador's sales from 57 million litres in 2009 to nearly 300 million by 2015.

An easy-drinking, affordable brandy well suited to mixing — a popular choice with cola or simply over ice.
