Codigo 1530 El Tequila Rosa

Código 1530 made history as the first brand to produce a naturally pink-hued tequila — not through any additive, but by resting their pure Blanco in uncharred French White Oak barrels that previously held Napa Valley Cabernet, picking up both colour and character from the wine left behind in the wood.

The result is delicate and floral, with soft red-fruit notes and gentle vanilla layered over the brand's signature bright agave base — a genuinely different style of tequila, more nuanced than its striking colour might suggest.

Beautiful in a Tequila Old Fashioned, or simply over ice to appreciate the wine-cask influence on its own.
