A non-alcoholic sparkling wine made from Xarel·lo 40%, Macabeu 30%, Parellada 30%.
Appearance : Bright straw yellow hue with long-lasting bubbles
Nose : Very refreshing tropical notes with hints of citrus.
Palate : Lively and fruity, with well-balanced acidity and medium-sized bubbles that create an agreeable sensation on the palate, followed by a fruity aftertaste, evocative of tropical fruit and a hint of citrus.
Food pairings : Perfect as an aperitif. Can be enjoyed with salads, light starters as well as Asian or slightly spicy food.
Castell d'Or is the heritage of the first cooperatives founded at the end of the XIX century. At present, we are a total of 16 cooperatives, representing more than 2,200 Families that work together with love and respect for nature. United for a common project with value, character, tradition...
Cava Castell d'Or is located in the Comtats area of Barcelona, an area with diverse landscapes, mainly characterized by valleys with a diversity of microclimates, as a consequence of the proximity to the Mediterranean coast and the altitude of some vineyards – up to 750 m above the level of the sea – which allows an exclusive selection of the best grapes of each subzone and gives us cava with a unique personality.
