Brilliant color adorned with golden reflections, an intense and fruity nose. The supple, unctuous and long palate finishes on a very pleasant note of honey,
Best served at 6°C as an aperitif wine, it can be enjoyed with foie gras or as a dessert with Roquefort. It is also used in cooking or sauces for red meats.
The Boule vineyard extends over an area of 50 hectares, 3 of which are devoted to white Pineau des Charentes.
The vines with a minimum density of 4000 vines per hectare as well as total grass cover allow good control of yields and quality. The average age of the vineyard is 20 years. Leaf stripping is added to other green work to improve the maturity of the grapes.
Mechanical harvesting with sorting of the harvest in the cellar, cold maceration for 24 hours allowing the extraction of aromas and tannins, then direct pressing with separation of the free-run and press juices, only the free-run juice will be used for the production of pineau and a light settling allows to separate the heavy lees before the final mutation to cognac which will bring the alcohol contained in the pineau.
