We are excited to invite you to a special Bordeaux Wine Dinner at L’Angélus, Singapore’s iconic French restaurant. Located in the heart of Club Street, L’Angélus is one of the oldest French establishments in the city, known for its authentic Parisian charm and dedication to delivering classic French cuisine with a contemporary twist.
The evening will feature an exclusive appearance by Mr. Hugo Boivin, Sales Director of VINS FINS ANTHONY BARTON. With over a decade of experience in fine wine, Mr. Boivin is a true expert in Bordeaux wines, particularly the renowned wines from the Barton family. His deep knowledge and passion for these historic vineyards will bring the essence of Bordeaux right to your table.
For this special event, we have curated an exquisite pairing of four Barton wines with a decadent four-course menu created by L’Angélus’ talented chefs, reflecting the restaurant’s dedication to traditional French craftsmanship.
The featured wines include:
Château Mauvesin-Barton, Moulis en Médoc 2015
A silky, refined wine, this 2015 vintage reveals rich layers of dark fruit and subtle spice, pairing perfectly with Truffle-Infused Beef Tartare.
La Réserve de Léoville Barton, Saint Julien 2018
This second wine from Château Léoville Barton showcases Bordeaux's hallmark elegance and depth. Its blackcurrant and cedar notes pair beautifully with Soft Boiled Egg with Ham & Cepe Reduction.
Château Langoa-Barton, Saint Julien 3rd Grand Cru Classé 2013
A wine of great balance and finesse, with a bouquet of red and black fruits and a long finish, perfectly matched with Wagyu Sirloin MS 6/7.
Château Léoville Barton, Saint Julien 2nd Grand Cru Classé 2021
A legendary Second Growth wine, this 2021 vintage brings intensity and elegance, with deep notes of blackberry and graphite, an excellent partner for Red Wine Poached Pear with Valrhona Chocolate.
The elegant ambiance of L’Angélus provides the perfect backdrop for this sophisticated evening, blending the very best of French gastronomy and Bordeaux wine heritage.
