Delphine Vesselle comes from a centuries-deep vine growing family in the grand cru village of Bouzy, in the Montagne de Reims. Delphine has always been a creative force in Bouzy, introducing a “real” rosé Champagne made from 100% Pinot Noir, her Rosé de Saignée, to her portfolio early on.
Old-vine Pinot Noir is indeed the backbone of Montagne de Reims 's Bouzy Grand Cru, and to better capture the power and intensity of this red grape, Delphine has also pushed for more environmentally friendly growing methods — eliminating any additives and chemicals in the vineyards (not an easy thing to do in this cooler, climate-challenged northern region).
Hear all about her family’s rich legacy, philosophy, and the stories behind each wine. We look forward to seeing you then, cheers!
